Costs & Savings

Shoebox Range

Small price tag, big rate of return

The Kensa Shoebox ground source heat pump costs are very attractive compared to traditional gas boilers, especially when coupled with RHI payments.

In cases where Shoebox heat pumps have been specified with a district heating scheme such as a micro heat network in newbuild or retrofit applications, the installation will qualify for significant financial subsidy via the Government’s Non Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) over 20 years.

Equally, for retrofit projects where an individual ground array is deemed more suitable for each dwelling, the emergence of the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), launched in the Spring of 2014, provides support.
