Bungalow, Cornwall

Ground Source Review: Bungalow, Mylor.
A neat example of a borehole installation featuring a Compact Kensa heat pump, this bungalow in Cornwall shows that properties of all shapes and sizes can enjoy the benefits of a ground source heat pump.
Ground Source Review: Bungalow, Mylor
This bungalow is heated with a 6 kW Kensa Compact ground source heat pump connected to 1 x 70m deep vertical closed loop ground array hidden beneath the driveway.
The drilling rig was simple to position with easy access via the driveway. Trenches were short and narrow leading to the manifold and heat pump location at the back of the garage.
We were surprised at how smooth the installation was for us, with minimal disruption. Savings on our energy bills, compared with oil is fantastic and our house value has increased, we’re over the moon.
