UK ground source heat pump market leader, Kensa Heat Pumps, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Chris Davis as Commercial Director.

In his new role as Commercial Director, Chris will be responsible for developing and delivering Kensa’s ambitious commercial strategy, leading sales, marketing and business development and growing new business opportunities for the company’s range of ground source heat pump solutions.

Chris brings considerable experience of the UK heat pump market to the role, having previously worked as Business Development Director for Dimplex Renewables.  He has worked in the heating industry for over 12 years and been actively involved with the development of the heat pump industry since 2005, including as a member of the MCS heat pump working group and as a council member of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association.  Chris has also served as Chairman of the BEAMA Domestic Heat Pump Association, which represents the voice of leading heat pump manufacturers to Government and policy makers on heat pump related issues.  In summer 2011 Chris was invited to join a DECC task force aimed at reviewing heat pump installation practices, which resulted in the recent important changes to MIS3005 MCS heat pump standard.
