Area Sales ManagerStuart has been involved in the heating & renewables industry since 2005, bringing a wide range of knowledge & experience. Stuart manages the MCS Umbrella team who assist installers in delivering MCS certified, Kensa GSHP installations.


Ian Weatherstone
Key Account Sales Manager - NationalIan has 30 years of experience in the heating industry & 10 years in the renewable sector. Ian focusses on the volume sales market, procurement frameworks & tenders, working with M+E contractors to support the deployment of networked heat pumps.


Paul Dennison
Account ManagerPaul joined Kensa in 2007 to spearhead sales through the expanding distributor and installer networks. He has worked within the heating industry for over 30 years.


Lauren Hill
Senior Account ManagerLauren has worked in Renewables since 2016. Lauren's ground source heat pump (GSHP) knowledge allows her to prepare detailed quotations with accuracy. Her understanding of domestic and commercial systems means she can evaluate all GSHP applications.


Holly Woodcock
Account ManagerHolly joined Kensa Heat Pumps in 2021 bringing 7 years of experience & knowledge from the heating & renewables industry. Holly works within the Sales team specifying bespoke ground source heat pump solutions for both domestic & commercial projects.

Account ManagerJamie brings 3 years of experience from the Electrical industry. Jamie provides support & advice specifying suitable ground source heat pump solutions for projects ranging from single domestic properties to luxury new-build housing developments.

Darren Veal
Installer Development & Training ManagerPrior to joining Kensa in 2014, Darren was a heating engineer for over 30 years. Providing valuable technical support to both the sales team and our installers, Darren is responsible for heat pump commissioning, MCS compliance and installer training.


Todd Whymark
Installer Development EngineerTodd first joined Kensa in 2005. As an expert in all aspects of technical support, Todd advises on new and old Kensa products, attends sites across the UK, and helps with the day-to-day running of the department.


Tom Worth
Technical Support ManagerPreviously a refrigeration engineer, Tom joined Kensa in 2000. Now the Technical Support Manager, Tom manages and delivers first-class installer support. You'll also find him attending UK-wide sites or assisting with product research and development.


Tom Cosier
Technical Support AdvisorTom has been working for Kensa since 2015. He started in the manufacturing facility building slinkies & units. Tom then progressed to post-installation Technical Support in 2020.

Maggie Buhr
Group Buyer & AdministratorMaggie joined Kensa in 2010 with a strong background in administration. She is your first point of contact for any invoicing or order and despatch queries.


Ally Tout
Compliance ManagerAlly joined Kensa in 2018 and works within the sales team, based in Exeter. Ally supports the MCS Umbrella scheme and ensures compliance with MCS guidelines to deliver successful funding applications with OFGEM.


Melissa Gooding
Sales AdministratorMelissa joined Kensa in 2020 and has worked within the Sales & Business Administration sector since 2016. Melissa works with the Sales team to log new projects, she also works with the Training Team offering bespoke training for installers.

MCS CoordinatorRuth joined Kensa in 2020 & works within the MCS Compliance Team. Ruth has six years of experience working in the renewable heating industry & over 20 years in Customer Service. She supports installers & homeowners with the MCS Umbrella & funding.

Managing DirectorAn Engineer with multi-sector experience, Paul joined Kensa in 2020 as Operations Director, to deliver ambitious output growth targets. In 2022, Paul was appointed as Managing Director to drive Kensa's ongoing growth & product portfolio development.


Guy Cashmore
Engineering DirectorCo-founder of Kensa, Guy oversees Kensa's engineering, leads research and development, designs new Kensa products, and delivers training and lectures to staff, students, and export distributors.


Kate Clarke
Finance DirectorKate has a background in both private and public finance, in sectors ranging from services to manufacturing. She is responsible for running the finance and admin department and dealing with the day to day financial matters.

Marketing & Strategic Communications DirectorMarketing renewables since 2007, Stephanie joined Kensa in 2011 and is responsible for marketing, corporate and public affairs, advocating the Kensa Group of companies and shaping the UKs optimum transition to decarbonised heating and cooling.

Technical DirectorDan has over 10 years' experience in the GSHP industry, giving him unrivalled knowledge. From building heat pumps to delivering large-scale GSHP schemes. Dan has unparalleled comprehension of GSHPs from initial production through to installation.


Steve Berry
Director of OperationsSteve has worked for brand leading manufacturing companies over the last 25 years. He is an Engineer who has focused on Operations Leadership in multiple sectors. His focus is on developing the Operations function to support Kensa’s growth plans.

Dr. Matthew Trewhella
CEOA former NASA scientist, Matt joined Kensa in 2013 and oversaw the development of Kensa Contracting’s large-scale delivery operations and helped pioneer the use of shared ground loop systems. Matt was appointed as CEO in 2022.


James Standley
COOJames is responsible for delivering customer and shareholder value through Kensa’s manufacturing, field delivery, technical support and NPD activities. James was appointed COO of The Kensa Group in 2022.

Group Finance DirectorA qualified Chartered Accountant, Mel joined Kensa in 2009 as Finance Director and provides overall financial advice and control and supports the finance team in fulfilling its duties.


Chris Miles
Non-Executive DirectorChris joined Kensa in 2020. He invested in and led the growth of a renewable heat business from 2005, which was later sold to a major utility. Chris has had board-level experience across 8 businesses in the low-carbon energy sector.


Andrew Rendel
Non-Executive DirectorAndrew is an Investment Director in Legal & General Capital’s Clean Energy team. He has been working in the renewables & cleantech sectors for over a decade during which he has developed expertise across debt, private equity & venture capital.


Jo Butlin
Non-Executive DirectorJo joined Kensa in 2022 with over 26 years of experience in the energy sector. She now focuses on the UK’s ambition to move to Net Zero and is chair of OFGEM’s ESO performance panel and a founding member and Director of the Women Utilities Network.
