  • The internationally-acclaimed reward comes after the government’s recently-announced 10-point plan, calling for a ‘green industrial revolution’ and committing to deploy 600,000 heat pumps a year by 2028.
  • The win recognises the scheme as the most efficient, smart and sustainable project at a local level – competing with projects in 110 cities across 27 countries.
  • More than 700 households have seen savings of up to 45% savings on heating and hot water bills after a mixture of gas boilers and electric storage heaters were replaced with Kensa ground source heat pumps.

Patrick Berry, Managing Director of Together Energy Services, commented:

The project paves the way for a much wider application of heat pumps as we move away from fossil fuels in our properties.
